Kia ora ๐ I'm Ally โ a consultant, artist, TBI survivor, and sexual assault survivor. Just like you, I'm a human just trying to figure out this thing called life. Here is a bit about me and the things I'm passionate about.
Work
My sweet spot is understanding how people, systems and processes work together โ and helping organisations get clear on that too. I make ideas, processes and information beautiful, accessible and actionable. I bring both the thinking and the doing.
I've worked across stakeholder engagement, internal communications, IT project coordination, change management, business operations and video production. I'm as comfortable in a boardroom as I am in a spreadsheet.
TBI & Recovery
Living with a traumatic brain injury is complex, invisible, and often misunderstood. Over the years I've built up a knowledge base โ partly as a reference when my own memory fails, partly because others might find it useful too.
Brain Recovery Map is a dedicated platform with a concussion reflection tool and a health and wellbeing library built from lived experience.
Visit Brain Recovery Map โA structured tool to help you track symptoms, understand your recovery phases, and communicate with your healthcare team.
Articles on TBI, hormones, healing the body and mind โ from someone who has lived it and researched it obsessively.
Creative
Reconnecting with creativity has been one of the most powerful parts of my recovery. I work across acrylic painting, sculptural wall hangings, and mixed media โ often drawn to bold colour, geometric form, and the textures of found materials. Winner, Sculpture Category, Artfully Yours 2025.
SHSA Advocacy
After publicly sharing my experience of workplace sexual harassment and assault, I am determined to make it easier for others to speak up โ and for organisations to respond with best practice processes that actually protect people.
Shared Story Collective is for two audiences: people navigating their own experience who need support, information and community โ and organisations who want to build genuinely safe, responsive workplaces. Because silence protects the wrong people.
Resources, legal information, and a shared impact wall for people navigating workplace sexual harassment and assault. Plus best practice guidance for organisations committed to doing better.
