New Pantry

When we moved into our house the pantry was so inefficient and such a waste of space. So we gutted it and built in some custom shelving! I LOVE the skinny shelves for spices, cans and bottles.

We put in grooved MDF, custom cut the shelves and made them different heights for different groceries. They’re held up by pegs made of 5mm dowel, which was drilled through the 10mm upright poles.

Then we’ve used clear plastic bins from Kmart (love a bargin) to organised everything by category, i.e; Pasta, Crackers, Biscuits, Museli Bars and Snackballs, beverages etc.

It should probably look tidier, but we have three kids! So… yea! It’s real ;)
